Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies"). Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus.

Provincial Meeting Scheduled

VSM Wayne Hogan has announced that the date for the Provincial meeting is set for September 25th in Lake Oswego at Our Lady of the Lake Parish Hall.  All Faithful Navigators, Faithful Comptrollers, Assembly Officers, and members are urged to attend the all day event.  Registration starts at 9 AM, and the meeting will begin at 10:30 AM.  Lunch from 12 to 1 PM.  An Honor Guard mass will be held at 5 PM  A Social and Banquet will follow the Mass.  

Meeting materials along with hotel and restaurant information will be mailed out soon.  Mark your calendar and plan to attend.
